Sometimes when you visit a church, the first thing you read on their welcome material is "What We Believe," and it's usually a doctrinal statement.  That's good, except it may be perceived as "what it takes to get in our door." That's not our purpose at all.

It's certainly important to understand what a church says about the Bible. Is it, for example, true? What does it say about God?  About what it takes to have a relationship with Him? So by all means, check that out.

We think that you will also want to know what we value just as much as what we believe. Things like love and acceptance, a heart for lost people, a desire to strengthen families, and a commitment to teamwork are important ways to live out what you believe.

In the big picture, a church's belief system and its values both define what they spend their energy and money on, what their mission and vision is, the atmosphere in which they do ministry and, of course, what their theology is.

Hope this is helpful. Check out the pages below to see how our purpose, beliefs and values mesh to make us who we are.
