Club 56...5th-6th grade

Acting on God's Promises

Club 56 is for kids in  5th and 6th grades.  Kids in this age group are at a unique place in life. They are not yet teenagers; however, they also don't consider themselves children. So, Club 56 provides a place just for the ‘tween years'.  Focus is on living the Christian life, acting on God's promises, and serving others.

Wide Open Worship (WOW)

5th and 6th grade kids are encouraged to attend Wide Open Worship downstairs in the Fellowship Center at the beginning of our 6:30 PM Saturday service and our 9:45 AM and 11:30 AM Sunday services at the main campus. Kids are led in a time of worship which incorporates singing along with movement. Live or recorded music which appeals to kids makes this a fun way for them to glorify God. Families may choose to have their children go to the kids' Wide Open Worship or attend the adult worship with their parents in the main sanctuary.

Club 56 Class in Weekend Services*

Club 56 meets in room 2 at the main campus, following our worship time during our 6:30 PM Saturday evening service and our Sunday 11:30 AM Service. Two teams of teachers rotate monthly in leading Club 56. Kids are encouraged to begin acting on their faith by applying Biblical principles to their daily choices. Relevant topics are covered in creative ways during Club 56. Games and learning activities provide an environment for kids to build relationships with each other and explore how God's truths affect their daily lives.

*At our Gem Heights Campus Club 56 meets from 10:30-11:30 AM.

Kids Church*

At the main campus, 1st through 6th graders all meet together for Kids Church following the worship time during the 8:00 AM service and the 9:45 AM Service.

  • At the 8:00 AM service kids meet in room 4 for Kids Church at 8:20 AM.
  • At the 9:45 AM service kids remain in the Fellowship Center for Kids Church.
A Bible lesson, scripture memory, games, crafts and learning activities are all used to help children learn and have fun while in Kids Church. Both small and large group activities keep the kids engaged, actively learning and building relationships with peers and leaders throughout the hour.

Check-In

Parents of 5th and 6th grade visitors check their children into kids' classes at our Children's Minsitries Welcome Center located downstairs. They are asked to fill out a Guest Check-In Form and they are assigned a temporary paging number at that time. The parent takes one copy of the form while another copy stays at the check in center. If a parent is needed during the service, the child's number is displayed discreetly on the screen in the service. Children in 5th and 6th grades are released at the end of service without parent pick up. Please arrange with your child where you wish for you child to meet you.

Permanent Registration

When a family decides to attend Lighthouse regularly, they should then register their child to be assigned to a class on our computer check-in system and they will receive a permanent paging number. To do this, parents need to fill out and return the blue LCC Children's Ministires Registration Form. This streamlines the weekly check in process by automatically checking them into class and printing a nametag. (Please be aware that this form is different than our Guest Check-in Form.)
