Paul Boyer, Youth Pastor |
|

Top things people say to describe him:
Passionate, Random,
Creative, Funny and Open.
What does he do at Lighthouse:
Paul does a lot of teaching,
writing, event-planning, and hanging out with and listening to students. He's most involved with the jr. hi midweek
service and with the sr. hi guys deeper group, a Sunday morning Bible-study,
but he is responsible for the over-all direction of the entire youth ministry
at Lighthouse.
Personal Kryptonite:
Eating food after 9 pm (He
swears it tastes better then)
What's he passionate about:
Helping students discover a
real relationship with God and helping them learn to follow that up with a life
of love and service to others. He also
has a heart for the underdog and the hurting.
Paul is also passionate about using writing and the arts to make an
impact for God.
Harmless Addiction:
Reading screenplays and/or
cookbooks before he nods off at night
Family-life:
Paul has been married to
Rachael since Aug. 28, 2005. He thinks
she's gorgeous and especially loves her honesty, sass, and playful love for
life. They are the adopted parents of 10
year old Beagle-mix named, Lola who still has some mischief in her.
Superpower:
Haircut detection (most of
the time)
Credentials and stuff:
Paul graduated in 2003 from Northwest College
(now Northwest University) with a Bachelor's Degree in
Pastoral Ministry. He is licensed pastor
with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Paul has been serving students in one form of ministry or another since
his first year of college and has been on staff at Lighthouse since 2003.
Person on staff he's most jealous of:
Adam Roberts - he can sing, dance, play guitar, do
anything with a computer and his hair has more natural bounce and volume than
anyone Paul knows - (seriously).
Stuff Paul does for fun:
Nerd-out with card and board
games, watch DVDs, read, write, and play sports.
Silliest goal in life:
To never get a speeding
ticket
