What does he do, anyway?
Paul oversees a variety of
ministries and is one of our teaching pastors.
He assists Pastor Art in the overall ministry organization,
coordination, and leadership development of the staff. He oversees the teaching ministry and all the
classes. His ministries also include
Marriage Ministry, Hospitality Ministry, and shepherding God's people and
serving with joy!
He's also taken on the
role of being the one to keep the staff refrigerator from being completely
gross!
All this to say, he has
the privilege of serving with a lot of wonderful people.
What he's passionate about:
Paul has always had a
heart for people and relationships, serving in various capacities over the
years. Paul has a passion and skills in
teaching God's Word and helping others experience the transformational power of
God's truths as they apply them in their lives.
His favorite book: The Bible.
Okay, he has others, but after all he is the Teaching Pastor,
and if you press him he'll still say "the Bible."

Family Life: Paul has been married and is more in love with his wife, April, for 23
years. They met in college and married
young - proving that April is smarter than he is. They have two beautiful daughters - Lauren,
who is 18 and heading off to college, and Catherine, who is 14 and starting
High School this year.
Life before Lighthouse: Paul
graduated from Geneva College in Pennsylvania
with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Human Resource Management and
Organizational Design. He also completed
studies in Music from the Dana School of Music.
Paul served in Bible Study Fellowship for 10 years as the Teaching
Leader and spent 25 years in management and ownership in the restaurant industry.
Where you're likely to find him when not at the
church:
The coffee shop reading,
the tennis court, cycling, camping or boating with his family.
Things you might not know: Paul is a 7th
generation pastor. It must be something
about the Moffett name. He also speaks
Spanish and loves to cook.
