PrayerGod's word says "My house will be a house of prayer" Matthew 21:13 Prayer is essential to the health and well being of every church. At Lighthouse, prayer lays the foundation for all our ministries and is key in helping people's needs be met. We are excited about the desire God is putting in the hearts of people to pray. Here a few ways you can get involved in prayer.
Prayer Around the Clock. We start at 8:00 a.m. on Friday morning and pray non-stop until Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. People take ½ hour time slots and prayer for the life of the church. If you are interested in taking a time slot, please call the church office.
Saturday Morning All-Church Prayer - People meet on Saturday mornings in the Prayer room from 8:30-9:30 a.m. to pray for church- related issues. If you have a free Saturday morning you are welcome to join us.
E-Mail Prayer Chain - Each week in service we receive many prayer requests. Those requests are put into groups and e-mailed to our e-mail prayer chain. These faithful people spend time lifting up these needs to the Lord. If you would like to join the e-mail prayer chain call the church and let us know.
The Telephone Prayer Chain - This is a network of men and women who agree with people in prayer when a crisis occurs regardless of time of day.
The Altar Prayer Ministry - This ministry is made up of men and women who are available after each service to pray for the needs of the people. The needs range from praying over someone who has made a first time commitment to the Lord to people who have serious illnesses.
