Promiseland...Discovering God's Promises Promiseland is our ministry to children aged infant through Kindergarten.  In Promiseland nurseries and classes, babies and young children discover a safe, loving environment in which to learn, play and develop.  By discovering that church is a loving, good place to be, young children will discover that God is loving and good. Promiseland Nurseries For All Weekend Services Infants and toddlers are cared for during the entire service in bright, clean and inviting nurseries.  Paid caregivers are present every week to provide consistency for the children.  Volunteers who love little ones also serve in the nurseries once a month.  Promiseland Classes For All Weekend Services Children aged two years old through Kindergarten are taught in classes for their age which run during the entire service.  A simple lesson, learning activities, crafts, snack and play time provide age appropriate structure for these active children.  Two teachers rotate monthly in teaching each of the Promiseland classes with volunteer classroom helpers serving once a month. Security Sign-In When parents bring their infants through Kindergartners to a nursery or class they are asked to fill out a registration card which lists any allergies or special needs.  A paging number is assigned at that time.  The parent takes one copy of the card while another copy stays with the child.  If a parent is needed during the service, the child's number is displayed discreetly on the screen in the service.  When parents pick up their children after service, they must return their copy of the registration card to show that they are authorized to take the child.  When a family decides to attend Lighthouse regularly, a permanent card is made and a permanent number assigned to the child.  We use this system to maintain a safe environment for your children.
