Some of you may be saying to yourself, “Lighthouse has a men’s ministry?”  Well we do, and we want you to be a part of it.

There are many Christian books in circulation today that delve into the role of man in the “modern church.”  Christ made each and everyone of us in his own image, and for men that is a masculine image.  Suffice it to say that the men’s ministry feels that Christ has been calling us to meet the men of Lighthouse where they are at. Christ modeled relationship with his disciples all throughout the Gospels.

With Christ’s guidance the men’s ministry is striving to provide opportunities for the men of Lighthouse and the greater Puyallup area to grow in their vertical relationship with Christ and horizontal relationship with each other.  Whether in the sports ministries, service ministries, events ministries, fellowship ministries, or the bible study/accountability ministries opportunities exists for us all to have a stronger relationship with Christ and other Christians.

As Pastor Art likes to say “we are all in process,”  I know I am!  Would you take some time, right now, to pray and think about where your relationship is with God and other Christian men.  Luke 12:21 states “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.”
