Puyallup schools are closed on March 23, so let’s take a field trip of our own. Pack a lunch and bring your kids to the Children’s Museum of Tacoma where you’ll enjoy free admission (pay as you will) and six engaging playscapes that will keep your kids entertained for hours.

Lighthouse has reserved a Group Visit from 10:00am-11:30am. The cafeteria is reserved for us from 11:30am-noon. Bring your friends (and make some new ones) for a morning of fun!

Registration is required for adults. Please list the name and age of each child you will be bringing with you. This info is provided to the Museum prior to our visit.

Authentic Indian Cooking

Authentic Indian Cooking

Do you love Indian food? Have you ever wondered how to make it yourself? The unique spices, the techniques, it's easier than you think. Shelly Luthi has traveled to India several times and learned the traditional methods while gathering some wonderful recipes along the way.

During this fun group you’ll learn to make Chicken Tikka Masala, a favorite dish that wins over the pickiest eaters (even kids), basmati rice, and an Indian bread called roti. After cooking together, participants will enjoy lunch together Indian style eating with your hands – no utensils (not mandatory). You’ll also learn the secret to making real Indian Chai, and get to take home all the recipes.

The class fee of $10 per person covers ingredients and supplies. This fun group is limited to 15 people. Please pay when registering.
