The purpose of Member to Member is to create opportunities for mutual care among those who call Lighthouse home, living out the biblical directions to comfort, encourage, support, and serve one another so that the love of Christ may be known. Through such things as visitation, phone conversations, meal trains, helping hands, and bereavement support ministries, our Member to Member team serves the congregation in practical ways.

To receive support through Member to Member, please fill out the Member to Member Request for Assistance.

Visitation Ministry

Visitation Ministry

The LCC Visitation Ministry provides personal visitation to those in hospitals, nursing homes, or in the individual's home. Volunteers lend their support to pastoral staff who cannot, by themselves alone, meet the needs due to the size of the Lighthouse family. The LCC Visitation Ministry covers specific requests for prayer visitation and staying in touch through phone calls.

Our focus is in on serving LCC members and regular attenders who are in need of relational connection to the church whether they are homebound, in the hospital or a nursing home setting, due to age, recovery/rehabilitation, illness, etc.

We try to accommodate daytime and early evening visits. Our quick response is dependent on volunteer availability.

You may request a visit using one of the following methods:
• Call the LCC office and request assistance from Member to Member Ministry.
• Complete the Member to Member Ministry Request for Assistance Form (link below)

Helping Hands Ministry

Using our pool of handymen and women, Helping Hands Ministry provides help with around-the-house chores to our seniors, single parents, military spouses during time of deployment, and those who have physical challenges. Helping Hands Ministry does minor household repairs, occasional yardwork, and simple auto care.

Our focus is in on serving LCC members and regular attenders who do not have the support of a home group, family, or friends. The provided help is for a limited time and not intended for ongoing maintenance needs.

Allow approximately 48 hours for us to contact the volunteers and put a work schedule in place. Urgent needs are considered on an individual basis.
