Promiseland Nursery

During our Sunday morning 10:00am service our infants and toddlers (up to 2 years old) are cared for by paid caregivers who provide a loving, safe and inviting enviroment.  Volunteers also serve in the nursery once a month.

Our nursery is located in Room 104 located to the left of our main Worship area.

Promiseland Preschool Classes

Children 2-3 years old through Kindergarten are taught in classes throughout our entire 10:00am service.  A Bible lesson, learning activities, crafts, snacks and play time provide age appropriate structure for this active group.  These classes are led by a combination of paid caregivers and volunteers who enjoy sharing the love of Jesus with God's precious children.

Our 2-3 year olds meet in Room 103.  Our 4-Kindergarten class meets in Room 102.  Both classrooms are located to the left of our main Worship area.

Mommy and Me Room

Our Mommy and Me Room provides a special place for nursing mothers to be able to see and hear via video monitor.  This room is located to the right of the main Worship area, next to the library.

Security Sign-In

When visiting parents bring their infants through Kindergartners to a nursery or class they are asked to fill out a Newcommer Check-In Form.  A temporary paging number is assigned at that time.  The parent takes one copy of the form while another copy stays with the child.  If a parent is needed during the service, the child's number is displayed on the screen in the service.  When parents pick up their children after service, they must return their copy of the Check-In Form to show that they are authorized to take the child.  We use this system to maintain a safe enviroment for your children.

Permanent Registration

When a family decides to make Lighthouse at Gem Heights their church home they may register their child by filling out and returnig a blue Registration Card.  The child will then receive a name tag and a permanent paging number.  Check-In Sheets are updated monthly.

All God's Children Choir

Our choir, 3 year olds through 6th grade, led by Maritza Pack and Elaine Shull, meets every Sunday.  Kids are led in a time of worship which incorporates singing along with movement.  Our gifted directors use both live and recorded music to make this a fun way for children to glorify God.  Performances include Easter and Christmas with special concerts throughout the year.

3 year olds - 2nd grade meet at 10:30am in Room 101.  Our 3rd-6th graders meet at 10:45am in Room 109.
