Nurseries
During our weekend services infants, toddlers, 2 year olds are cared for during the entire service in bright, clean and inviting nurseries. Paid caregivers are present every week to provide consistency for the children. Volunteers who love little ones also serve in the nurseries once a month.
The 2 year olds class (28 months through 36 months) is enhanced with a short Bible story and coordinating craft designed just for them. Our nurseries, rooms 123-125, are located on the main floor with an entrance off of the main lobby.
Promiseland Classes
Children 3 years old through Kindergarten are taught in classes for their age which run during the entire service. A simple Bible lesson, learning activities, crafts, snack and play time provide age-appropriate structure for these active children. These classes are led by volunteers who enjoy sharing the love of Jesus with God's precious children.
The classes for 3 year olds are on the main floor in rooms 120 and 122. Classes for 4 year olds through kindergarten meet downstairs in rooms 11, 13, and 15.
Parent Room
A room is provided for parents of fussy children to be able to see and hear the service while caring for their children. This area, located upstairs in room 204, has a viewing window to see the Sanctuary below.
Check In & Registration
When visiting parents bring their infants through Kindergartners to a nursery or class they are asked to fill out a Guest Check-In Form. A temporary paging number is assigned at that time. The parent takes one copy of the form while another copy stays with the child. If a parent is needed during the service, the child's number is displayed discreetly on the screen in the service. When parents pick up their children after service, they must return their copy of the check-in form to show that they are authorized to take the child. We use this system to maintain a safe environment for your children.
When a family decides to attend Lighthouse regularly, they should then register their child to be assigned to a class on our computer check-in system and they will receive a permanent paging number. To do this, parents need to fill out and return the green LCC Children's Ministries Registration Form. This streamlines the weekly check in process by automatically printing a nametag and parent pick up tag. (Please be aware that this form is different than our Guest Check-in Form.)
