Designing Dynamic Christian StepfamiliesHave you experienced..... Divorce? Remarriage? Are you dealing with Step Children, Ex's, In-laws and Ex-in-laws? Or are you related to someone who is? The Stepfamily leadership team understands how you feel. They desire to see healing in all your relationships by building a support team around you and bring encouragement to you as you walk this journey. Come join us in a safe atmosphere as we seek to equip one another with biblical principles for specific step-family issues. Steve and Donna Teutscher and Bud and Karen Asbjornsen are the leadership team of this class. Together they have nearly 50 years of experience living through the unexpected twists and turns of step-parenting. As noted author, Maxine Marsolini states in her book Blended Families - Creating Harmony as You Build a New Home Life, "Step families - those formed as the result of divorce and remarriage, with children to nurture -were once a novelty. Today, this model is widely recognized as "the new American family." Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light." Designing Dynamic Christian Stepfamilies is a 12-week class series designed for small group discussion each week. It will be held weekly at main campus.
