Pastor Brandon & Jennifer Sales

Brandon and Jennifer have been a part of Lighthouse since 2015. Brandon served as the pastor of High School ministries for two years, leading our students into a deeper and fuller love for Jesus Christ, as well as being a member of the Preaching Team and Family Ministry Team since 2016.

In October of 2018, Brandon was installed as our lead pastor. When Brandon talks of his vision for the future of Lighthouse Christian Center, he says, “I want to see God’s glory magnified in the Puyallup Valley through transformed disciples of Jesus Christ who are learning more and more what it means to be a gospel presence in every sphere of their lives.”

Dennis & Pat Elonka

Dennis & Pat Elonka

Dennis and Pat Elonka have been a part of the Lighthouse family for over 20 years. They have served in a number of capacities as leaders. They have led a home group together. Dennis served in technical ministries for several years. Pat serves as a mentor and lead mentor in the MOPS ministry. Dennis was a vital part of the building team as we built the first facility and the more recent addition. Finally, they have been elected to the Leadership Team several times. Over many years, both Dennis and Pat have used their gifting to serve the Body of Christ here at Lighthouse. Dennis recently retired from Group Health after spending a long career as an Ear, Nose and Throat physician. 

Dan & Kebra Thompson

Dan & Kebra Thompson

Dan and Kebra Thompson have been members at Lighthouse for more than 20 years. Dan and Kebra are people of prayer and depend on the Lord for His direction in their lives. They are fervent about discipling our next generation. Gifts of faith, giving, and administration are their strongest spiritual gifts. They are currently serving in high school youth ministry. Dan participates in missions yearly and is involved with the annual Missions Weekend, while Kebra serves as an LCC librarian. They have also hosted a home group and participated in various hospitality ministries. Dan and Kebra both taught math at Rogers High School for about 20 years before moving on to second careers. Dan is now a corporate CPA in downtown Tacoma and Kebra is a civilian Information Specialist with the Navy. In their free time, they enjoy running and visiting different Major League Baseball stadiums.

Larry & Janet Dill

Larry & Janet Dill

Larry and Janet Dill have made Lighthouse their home since 1995 and have served in various capacities including Prayer Ministry, Women’s Ministries, Children’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Worship Ministry, leading a home group, and the Leadership Team. Larry and Janet are faithful and mature followers of Jesus. Their spiritual gifts include wisdom, knowledge, and discernment. They have three grown children and five grandchildren. Janet works for MultiCare as a childbirth program administrator and educator. Larry works for World Vision as a manager for Marketing Operations. They are passionate about serving Christ and helping LCC continue to grow into all that the Lord has for us with a special emphasis on reaching the millennials.

Josh & Erin Meyer

Josh & Erin Meyer

Josh and Erin Meyer have been a part of the Lighthouse family for almost two decades. Over the years they have served in various ministries: MOPS, women's Bible studies, Youth and Men's Ministries, Home Groups, and Missions. Under Pastor Art Hunt, the Meyers served on the Leadership Team for six years. Josh is an Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant for TRA Medical Imaging. Erin is a Spanish teacher at Ferrucci Junior High. Their spiritual giftings include showing God's love to the world through missions, serving the local church, and encouraging others to follow Jesus fully. Together they feel blessed by the opportunity to serve the church through the Leadership Team.

Andrew & Rebecca Schwebke

Andrew & Rebecca Schwebke

Andrew and Rebecca have attended Lighthouse since 2004. Together they hosted and led a home group for four years and worked with Pastor Roger Schmidt to develop training materials for home group leaders. More recently, the Schwebkes became high school youth group leaders. They have a passion for getting to know people and see how God is working in their lives. Their desire is to see that Jesus is exalted, to be conformed to His character, and to live as ambassadors of His Kingdom alone. Andrew and Rebecca see their roles on the Leadership Team as an opportunity to serve and to continue to invest in encouraging a healthy church community where believers thrive and grow closer to God.
