This year we commit to praying for...

UNIFIED FAITH: 1 Corinthians 1:10
We pray for a church-wide unity around our commitment to Christ above all other personal philosophies. We pray for our greatest agreement to be our commitment to be surrendered to God’s Kingdom first and foremost. We pray that our church would believe that it’s possible to live side by side with other Christians who have diverse viewpoints in other areas of life. We pray for a commitment to God’s command to process areas of disagreement with love, humility, gentleness, and peace.

We pray that each of us would meet hardships with the belief that God is using life’s circumstances to strengthen our trust in Him. We pray that painful disappointments in life would be seen as an opportunity to fall to our knees in dependence and surrender to a God who works all things for our good. We pray for a deep commitment to bear each other’s burdens in times of need so that we would see Christ more clearly through our selfless love.

ZEALOUS FAITH: Romans 12:11-13
We pray that each of us would know that there is always MORE to encounter in Jesus. We pray that a mediocre life in Christ would never be something we are content with. We pray that our lives would be vessels for God’s supernatural power to save, redeem, reconcile, and heal the lives God has placed around us.

PROCLAIMING FAITH: 1 Peter 3:15-16
We pray we would see ourselves as people sent by God on a mission. We pray that we would offer ourselves as gifts to our neighborhoods, families, workplaces, schools, and cities. We pray for God to use us as conduits of His love as we allow Him to work through us. We pray that in the midst of a divisive and hurting world we would respond with an unwavering love for one another.
