Adopt a Teacher

Let's show our amazing Fruitland teachers and staff personnel some love!

Choose a teacher or staff person. Browse the list of participating teachers, office, and support staff from Fruitland Elementary. Register by selecting one to “adopt” — you're committing to putting together a thoughtful basket just for them!

Review their wishlist. Each staff member has submitted a few ideas or favorite things they'd love to receive. This list will be included in the registration confirmation email sent to you as soon as you register. Use the staff person's wishlist as inspiration, but don’t worry — you’re not expected to check off every item.

Build your basket. Include a few items from the teacher’s wishlist. Feel free to add your own creative twists! Handmade goodies, notes of appreciation, or unexpected treats are all welcome. Think of it as a blend of useful, joyful, and heartfelt.

Package it up. You can use a basket, box, tote bag, or any container you like. Try to make it festive and fun! Add colorful tissue paper, ribbon, or a card with a message from you.

Delivery instructions. Drop off your completed package at Lighthouse Christian Center by September 7. Make sure your package is labeled with the teacher’s name so we can get it to them without a hitch.

Additional tips. Keep it simple — the goal is appreciation, not perfection. If you’re stuck on ideas, think snacks, pens, stationery, self-care items, or a gift card. A handwritten note can mean the world!

  • Starting Point is for anyone interested in learning more about LCC and how to get involved, whether you are new to our church family or looking for deeper connection. This class explains LCC's mission, core values, and ministries. Starting Point is a great place to ask questions, meet our ministry team, and explore how you can take your next steps in growing as a disciple of Christ within our church community.

    Lunch is provided. Older children are welcome to attend with their parents. We have limited childcare for 0-5 years with preregistration.

  • We are looking for four to five people to use their vehicles to transport donated baskets/packages from Lighthouse to Fruitland Elementary on Friday, September 12 at/around 11:00am.
