- Have you ever been part of a church split?
- What hindered that local body from being together?
- What have you done or are doing that has stretched you in reaching out to people different from yourself?

Read verse 45.
- Do you feel you are a generous person?
- What hinders you from being as generous as God may want?

Read I Corinthians 4:2.
- What is a steward? (one entrusted with the goods of another)
- How might this verse apply to our possessions, time, resources, etc?

Envy and comparison can hinder us from being generous.
- What does Proverbs 14:30 say about envy?
-What does 2 Corinthians 10:12 say about comparison? Why is this unwise?
