The PEAK Assessment
Shaping the future of our church
At Lighthouse, we’re on mission to be a Christ-centered community that reaches out every day to make more and better disciples. As our church continues to grow, we believe God is always calling us to grow deeper in our faith, strengthen our ministry efforts, and increase our impact in our community. That’s why we are excited to announce Lighthouse’s participation in the PEAK Process, a church assessment and development tool designed to help churches better understand their strengths and identify opportunities for growth.
To start, we need your help! If you call Lighthouse your home church, please take about 30 minutes to complete this anonymous survey.
-
PEAK is a comprehensive assessment tool designed to help churches, including growing ones like ours, identify unique strengths and discover new opportunities for growth. By looking at our ministry through a clear, objective lens, PEAK helps us ensure we are effectively equipping you to live as apprentices of Jesus—whether at home, in the workplace, and across Puyallup and Pierce County.
Generously provided by the NW district of our denomination, the Christian & Missionary Alliance, the process includes guided coaching sessions to help church leaders evaluate key areas of church health, discipleship, leadership, mission, and ministry effectiveness so that we can faithfully continue to fulfill God's calling for our church.
-
The process starts with a congregation-wide survey. If you call Lighthouse your home church, whether over the last 3 months or last 3 decades, your input is critical as we begin. Only ~30 minutes helps us hear your valuable perspective through this anonymous survey.
-
Once the survey is complete, a team of staff and leadership team members will gather monthly to review where Lighthouse has been, discern where we are now, and pray for God’s guidance as we plan for the future. We ask for your ongoing prayer as we move forward over the next 7-9 months!
