Honor Your Father & Mother
Scripture Focus
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
(Exodus 20:2, 12)

Closing Blessing:
May the Lord teach us to honor one another with humility, gentleness, and love.
May He give us hearts that show respect, care, and wisdom toward our parents, even in the midst of imperfection, pain, or difficulty.
May we remember that every earthly relationship is ultimately meant to guide us toward deeper trust in our Heavenly Father.
In a culture that teaches us to live only for ourselves, may God form us into people who choose presence over distance, compassion over pride, and selfless love over individualism.
And may the grace of Jesus— who humbled Himself and gave Himself for us— be both the model and strength for the way we love others this week.
